<p>PURPOSE:To inform an operator of the binding position of a stapler when a document is manually positioned on contact glass. CONSTITUTION:On a 1st carriage 63, a light emitting element group L1 is arranged in Y-axial array. When a pressure plate 50 is open, the binding position is displayed by moving the 1st carriage 63 and selectively energizing the light emitting element group L1. A movable mark A1 is provided on the 1st carriage instead of the light emitting element, and the movable mark A1 is moved in the Y-axial direction to display the position. A light emitting element group L2 is provided even on a reference plate REF adjacent to one side of the contact glass to display four points of an effective image read area AREA. One point which is close to the binding position among the four points is blinked distinctively from other three points. When the pressure plate is closed, the display is quit and the 1st carriage 63 is put back to its home position.</p> |
