PURPOSE:To provide the copper oxide battery, of which battery characteristic in the storage condition at a high temperature is improved. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode 8, which has lithium as the active material thereof, a positive electrode 6, of which active material is mainly composed of cupric oxide, and the electrolyte, which includes propylenecarbonate, are filled as generating elements in a battery case 2, and the battery case 2 is sealed with a sealing plate 1 so as to assemble a battery. Thereafter, discharge is performed at 0.6mAh or more. After resting for 48 hours, discharge is restarted at 4.4mAh or less. |
