PURPOSE:To reduce the number of transmission lines and to simplify a video signal synthesis means by connecting the video signal synthesis means in cascade on a single transmission line and synthesizing a video signal from the transmission line and a video signal from a video signal source into one pattern and sending the resulting image. CONSTITUTION:Video signal synthesizers 1a to 1n are connected in cascade by a. single transmission line, receive video signal source number information to recognize respectively the number of a video signal source to be connected to themselves, receive a synthesis video image designation information to select a video signal to be sent and receive synthesis video image number information to decide a pattern structure of the video image to be synthesized by themselves and each has a control section to send the video signal source number information, the synthesis video image designation information and the synthesis video image number information. Video signal sources 2a to 2n give a video signal to the video signal synthesizers 1a to 1n, that is, they are television cameras. A video signal receiver 3 has a control section that receives the video signal source number information and generates and sends the synthesis video image designation information. Thus, the video signal synthesizing the video signals from the plural video signal sources into one pattern is sent. |
