PURPOSE:To perform the reading out of play data corresponding to an arbitrary tempo by accululating a value corresponding to a tempo playing at every signal having a prescribed period and starting a timing clock every time when the accumulated value becomes equal to or larger than prescribed values. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a fixed period timer 20 making interruptions to a CPU 10 with a fixed prescribed period and a sound source part 22 generating a musical sound signal with play data of an RAM 16 according to a timing clock progressed by the CPU 10. Then, a timer interruption routine is started up and in the case a Clock (s) is equal to or larger than the number (n) of interruption times of the fixed period per one minute. a value obtained by subtracting the number (n) of interuption times of the fixed period from a present clock R(s) is set as a new clock R(s). Even in the case the Clock (s) is less than the number (n) of interruption times whether the Clock (s) is equal to or larger than a Play Clock (s) or not is decided and in the case the Clock (s) is equal to or larger than the Play Clock (s), a play routine Play Task (s) is started up. |
