Parts 30 and 31, eg of a cylinder in sheet-folding apparatus (figure 1), are connected to each other via two planetary gear systems 21 and 22 to enable adjustment of the relative angular position which one part will maintain relative to the other as the two parts rotate together. Part 30 is driven from gear 15 via gear 16, the latter also moving planet gears 25 around the inside of a fixed ring 28. Sun gear 29 is thus rotated and in turn rotates planet gears 37, which therefore move around ring 33 and thereby rotate gear 24 which is coupled via shaft 20 to part 31. To make the angular adjustment between parts 30 and 31, the angular position of one ring 28, 33 relative to the other is adjusted. In an alternative arrangement, the two gear systems share a common ring gear and have individual and relatively angularly adjustable sun gears. <IMAGE>
