Subscriber connection cost reduction circuitry

The circuitry reduces the cost of subscriber connections, partic. in exchange installations. The subscriber selector in the exchange is divided into an individual part for direct outputs to characterise the operating condition, and a common part selectively allocated to the individual part. Dialling members, e.g. an electromagnetic dialler, a switch, a coupling spring or an electronic coupling spring are provided. The respective connection lines are adapted by a variable extension line whose adjustment is determined either by connection marking or by dialling or from the telephone number of the calling subscriber.
