LUBRICATING OIL FOR ALUMINUM CONTINUOUS CASTING MOLD AND ALUMINUM CONTINUOUS CASTING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide a lubricating oil excellent in mold lubricity, supplying property to mold and oil-water separability, comprising each specific high- viscosity mineral oil and oily agent at respective specified proportions. CONSTITUTION:This lubricating oil for aluminum continuous casting mold is obtained by blending (A) 60-90wt.% of a high-viscosity mineral oil having a dynamic viscosity at 40 deg.C of 300-2000cst with (B) 10-40wt.% of at least one kind of oily agent selected from among esters of polyols of respective formulas I, II and III, esters of polyacrylic acid of formula IV (20000-100000cst in the dynamic viscosity at 40 deg.C) and esters of polymethacrylic acid of formula V (20000-100000cst in the dynamic viscosity at 40 deg.C). It is preferable that an aluminum (alloy) continuous casting be made by continuously feeding this lubricating oil onto the inner wall surface of a continuous casting mold.
