PURPOSE:To provide an electrophtographic device capable of printing to a booklet having a larger thickness than that of recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A toner image formed on a photosensitive drum 22 is transferred on a transfer-fixing film 27 having heat resistance and conductivity, and the transfer-fixing film 27 Is interposed between a heating body 6 and a booklet 21 and then the transfer fixing film 27 and heating body G are pressed, so that a toner image is transfer-fixed on the booklet 21 through heat of the heating body 6. The heating body 6 is formed either to be movable in contact or non-contact relation with respect to the recording surface of the booklet 21, or to change compressing forces of the heating body 6 according to the printing position of the booklet 21. with line result that printing can be finely effected to a booklet whose thickness changes with the page to be recorded.
