The bolt which extends from the edge of the door in the locked position, a locking member which moves across the bolt and engages with teeth (190) on the surface of the bolt shank, and a control lever. The lock has an additional security feature in the form of a locking pin (222) which can occupy two positions - one in which the locking mechanism can move and a second in which it cannot. The lever which controls the lock mechanism has a notch in it with upper and lower edges which interact with the pin, and the pin is carried by a cam (223) actuated by the key bit (7) and held in the locked position by the lock cylinder.
