Pressure-sensitive capacitative sensor

The capacitative sensor, especially pressure sensor, with a variable, pressure sensitive measurement capacitor (1), and a further pressure sensitive reference capacitor (2), uses a control circuit where the circuit evaluates the capacitance. To balance out the distortion effects of parasitic capacitances between the capacitor (1) and its housing, and between the reference capacitor and housing a trimmer capacitor (S) is used.
