The rubber etc. damping cushion (17) is arranged between load frame (2) and the fork (11) arm carrying the load wheel(s) (8), and a mounting pan (21) in the truck head (5) rests on a damping cushion or rubber ring etc (23). Rubber bearing rings (20) or load bearing plastics rings etc. are interposed between the fork axle (13) carried in the frame and the frame bearing chocks (14). Details include pushrods hinged to the far ends (15) of the forks and joined to the forklift head, using the cushion (18) between the fork endstop (16) and frame to absorb vibration etc. The load wheels and guide wheels (9) ae hinged in tandem to the rear end fo the load fork (3).
