<p>The connector joins inlet (12) and outlet (14) tubes simultaneously to two fluid ducts (18,20) of a heat exchanger. It consists of a coupling (36) which engages with flared ends (52,54) on the two tubes and is joined to a counter-coupling (38) fitted between collars (80,82) on the two ducts. The coupling is in two halves (36A) with semi-circular edge recesses which join together to form apertures for the tubes. The two halves are assembled and fixed by bolts inserted into threaded holes (64) lying perpendicular to the tubes. <IMAGE></p> |
