PURPOSE:To save the trouble or input for plotting of an irregular line and to prevent the delay of response by preliminarily registering attribute data together with coordinate data with respect to the irregular line and using irregular coordinate data designated by this attribute data to output graphic data. CONSTITUTION:With respect to irregular lines like wavy line LW1 to LW3, coordinate data indicating the coordinate positions of many points on irregular lines is preliminarily registered together with attribute data indicating the line classification. If graphic data to be outputted include the graphic data including the attribute data designating irregular lines, coordinate data of irregular lines designated by this attribute data is used to output this graphic data. For example, a segment LS1 is registered with 'LS1' as the data number, a point P1 as the start point, a point P2 as the end point, 'irregular 1' as the line classification, green as the color, and middle as the thickness. Segments LS1 to LS3 are outputted from a plotter as irregular wavy lines LW1 to LW3. |
