PURPOSE:To provide systems in an unmanned parking lot for managing incom ing and outgoing of vehicles and for collecting charges for the parking lot. CONSTITUTION:When a vehicle comes, a vehicle detecting device 201 confirms the entrance of it and outputs a vehicle detecting signal (a). An image input device 202 responses to it and photographs the number plate of the entered vehicle 100, then an image signal (b) is generated. The vehicle number of the car 100 is recognized and a gate charge collection control part 205 stores the recognized vehicle number and the entrance time in the entered vehicle number charge 206, which controls an entrance gate 207. At the time of departure, the vehicle number is recognized by the vehicle 100 by a vehicle detecting device 208, camera 210, image input device 209, vehicle number recognition part 211. The gate charge collection control part 205 confirms the vehicle 100 from the recognized vehicle number. Further, the charge is calculated and a charge collecting device 214 collects charge. Then. opening and closing of an exit gate 213 is controlled. |
