PURPOSE:To provide a developing device capable of preserving the photoreceptor layer of a photoreceptor drum from being damaged, preventing an image defect such as a density unevenness and a surface staining from occurring on a recording image, obtaining the excellently clear recording image, and dispensing with an expensive high voltage power source and an insulating equipment. CONSTITUTION:The developing device is constituted so that the second developing roller 33 is composed of the conductive metal bar 33c, the semiconductive foamed resin layer 33b and the insulated coating resin layer 33a, then the actual resistance between the conductive metal bar 33c and the surface becomes >=10<3>OMEGA and <=10<13>OMEGA, moreover the absolute value ratio of the actual resistance at the normal temp. to the real resistance at the maximally changed temp. becomes <=4, and the toner T charged by the friction between the first developing roller 32 and the blade 34 is uniformly shifted from the first developing roller 32 to the second developing roller 33 by the electrostatic attractive force and transported to the developing part in between the photoreceptor 1. |
