PURPOSE:To remove dirt on the lens surface by devising a vertical cross section shape and the like of a stone guard. CONSTITUTION:An automobile head lamp 1 with stone guard has a head lamp unit 1a containing a reflecting mirror 3 and a lens 4 covering a front aperture of the reflecting mirror 3 within a lamp housing 2. A stone guard 7 for protecting the lens 4 is arranged in the front of the lamp housing 2, guards 8, 8,... extending in the horizontal direction are formed so that each vertical cross section shape becomes in a lateral V-shape, and a gap is formed between the guards 8, 8,... and the lens 4. |
