<p>PURPOSE:To suppress generation of dark parts which generate along the common wirings of storage capacitors on a liquid crystal display surface while preventing the trouble occurring in generation of prasitic capacitors. CONSTITUTION:This electro-optic element is formed by holding an electro-optic material between a pair of substrates arranged to face each other, forming plural signal lines S and plural scanning wirings G by intersecting with each other on the surface of the one substrate and forming transparent pixel electrodes, thin-film transistors 3 and the storage capacitors C in the plural intersected parts formed by the signal wirings and the scanning wirings. The capacitance electrodes 28 of the respective storage capacitors C which face the pixel electrodes via dielectric layers are electrically connected to each other by the common wirings 24 of the storage capacitors. The scanning wirings and the signal wirings are electrically insulated from counter electrodes.</p> |
