PURPOSE:To provide a display controller capable of clearly recognizing a cursor position at a glance. CONSTITUTION:A Y auxiliary cursor 20 is moved integrally with the cursor 18 in the horizontal direction as shown in figures (3), (4), and an X auxiliary cursor 19 is moved integrally with the cursor 18 in the vertical direction as shown in figures (2), (4). Thus, as shown in figure (5), when an external character 21 is formed in a frame 17, by that an optional dot (a) of the external character 21 and the cursor 18 exist on the Y auxiliary cursor 20 also, the fact that the cursor 18 coincides with the dot (a) in the Y direction is recognized at a glance. Further, as shown in figure (6), by that the optional dot (a) of the external character 21 and the cursor 18 exist on the X auxiliary cursor 19 also, the fact that the cursor 18 coincides with the dot (a) in the X direction is recognized at a glance. |
