PURPOSE:To perform the sorting for every attribute of each character in the order which is suitable to the meaning that the character has. CONSTITUTION:A division means 12 divides the character string to be the sorting object within a data base 11 according to attributes and the control tables 14a, 14b and 14c for every attribute are prepared. A sorting order determination means 13 according to attributes determines the sorting order which is suitable to the attributes for every control table 14a, 14b and 14c and sets values to the sorting order index corresponding to each character string within the control tables 14a, 14b and 14c. A sorting means 15 compares each character string for every attribute, judges the sorting order by the values of the sorting order index as for the same attributes with each other and performs the sorting. |
