Electrical units mounted on steering wheel of road vehicle

The steering wheel unit (2) of a road vehicle has a number of switch actuator levers (22,10) for operating functions, such as lights, indicator. The levers connect with a sensor block (6). An actuator (11) is also built into the assembly and connects with a processing unit (18). The unit is mounted on a circuit board (9) and the processing unit, actuator and sensor connect with an interface (15) via the board. A single cable (16) allows data to be transferred.
