<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make that a sufficient amount of positive ions and negative ions is enabled to be formed while suppressing generation of harmful ozones as far as possible. SOLUTION: This device has a constitution that a capacitor C2 and an SCR are arranged at the primary side of a switching transformer 31 wherein an ion generating element 1 is connected with the secondary side to constitute a voltage generating circuit 2, that input ends A, B of the voltage generating circuit 2 are connected with a commercial alternating current power source 3, and that an electric current is made to flow by the discharge of the capacitor C2 in an ON state of the SCR by a potential difference between the input ends A, B so that a driving current is intermittently applied to the ion generating element 1 of the secondary side.</p> |
