Pumping of liq. disinfectant out of container with aid of inert liq.

The disinfectant (4) in the form of e.g. conc. Ozonite (RTM) in the container is covered by a layer of e.g. silicons oil or paraffin (5) a few millimetres thick. It is extracted by a pump (10) through a tube (6) having a pH probe (8) at its inlet within 1 mm of the base of the container. A parallel tube (7) is opened when the disinfectant/oil interface falls below that level, to admit water for dilution of the residual prod. so that this can be removed without any health risk to the operator. The oil may be visually distinguishable, e.g. by colour, from the concentrate.
