<p>A die ring for shaping plastic melt esp. for prodn. of hollow products, tubes, has a melt flow channel passing between an inner torpedo (43) and the outer ring (44) of the die. The torpedo (43) is supported by a spider (42) against the outer die ring (44). The outer wall of the torpedo (43) and/or inner wall of the outer die ring (44) have projections (41) between the spider (42) and die lips (45). In a crosshead die the projections are between the crosshead and die lips.</p>
