Machine which is composed of a vertical frame in which are mounted, in a facing and aligned position, an upper vertical hydraulic cylinder 6 and a fixed lower head 12, the cylinder being located in an inverted position with a head 11 fixed at the end of the piston. The heads 11 and 12 have, starting from their facing surfaces, axial hollows 14 for mounting tubular guides intended to receive, tightly, the arms which define the shaft (axis) of the crankshaft. The machine is supplemented with means for facilitating removal of the crankpin and means for straightening shafts or bars. <IMAGE>
