PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC BY USING WASTE MATERIAL AS RAW MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a method for production of ceramics from waste materials as the raw material, capable of efficiently heating and firing them in a short time even in the case of a large and thick molding by utilizing the microwave heating method as the heating method. CONSTITUTION:Waste materials such as municipal wastes, sewage or fly ash are fused, subsequently cooled and solidified to produce a waste-fused glass. The resultant waste-fused glass is used as the raw material component to form a molding and the obtained molding is subjected to microwave heating treatment. Thereby, the components in the molding are sintered and the objective ceramic is produced.
