PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a transfer image without damaging the dyeing properties of a sublimable dye for thermal sublimation transfer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic tape 20 is bonded to a card substrate 10 and a concealing layer 16, a printing layer 17 and a receiving layer 18 are laminated on the bonding surface of the magnetic tape 20 of the card substrate 10 and the receiving layer 18 is covered with a protective layer 19 composed of a resin having sublimable dye permeability. At the time of thermal sublimation transfer, a sublimable dye transmits through the protective layer 19 by the heat of a thermal head to be received by the receiving layer 18 and, at ordinary temp., the transfer of the thermally sublimable dye to other member due to the contact of the sublimable dye received by the receiving layer 18 with the other member is prevented by the protective layer 19. |
