PURPOSE:To reduce defect of a formed body, make the size of the formed body small and improve the strength of the formed body and a baked body by preparing a formed body using two kinds of granules different in strength of pressure formed body and baking the formed body. CONSTITUTION:In a method for producing high-strength ceramics comprising producing a ceramic product by preparing a formed body using granules and baking the formed body, the formed body is prepared by the following means: The formed body is prepared using mixed granules of soft granules in which four-point flexural strength of the formed body prepared using these granules under 200MPa pressure is <=1.5MPa with hard granules in which four-point flexural strength of formed body prepared using these granules under 200MPa pressure is >=2MPa. The ratio of soft granules in the mixed granule is preferably 10-90wt.%.
