PURPOSE:To prevent degradation of washing efficiency at the time of continuous washing and also prevent water retention in a gas turbine and water mixture in a fuel system which are secondarily generated by continuous water charging by providing a means for periodically changing a flow rate of liquid in a specified time of washing a compressor. CONSTITUTION:At the time point wherein washing effect is lowered by formation of washing water film on a blade surface due to continuous charging of the washing water, water washing control valve 1 is fully closed or opened a little so as to restrict supply of the washing water. Because of decreasing air density, a rotation speed is increased and air current speed is increased so as to splash water from the blade surface. Also, because of increase of the rotation speed, dust and dirt are scattered to an outer periphery of the blade by centrifugal force. At the time point wherein a water film on the blade surface is broken to newly expose a surface to which dirt and dust are stuck, the water washing control valve is again operated to be fully opened or largely opened to collide the washing water against compressor blades 15, 16 so as to remove scale and dirt and dust from the blade surface. This intermittent washing is set to a washing water charging time and breaking time wherein the washing effect is favorable. |
