PURPOSE:To prevent the aggravation in the drive wheel slipping caused by the overlapping of an increase in engine driving force and a decrease in braking force by limiting the increase in engine driving force during the reduction of brake fluid pressure. CONSTITUTION:The traction control device 50 of a vehicle has an engine traction control means for controlling the driving force of an engine 5 and a brake traction control means for controlling the braking force of brake devices of driving wheels for restraining the slip against driving wheels 3 and 4. The engine traction control means is provided with a driving force control means to limit the increase caused engine traction control in the engine driving force while the brake traction control means is directing the reduction of brake fluid. This constitution makes it possible to prevent the aggravation in the drive wheel slipping caused by the overlapping of an increase in engine driving force and a decrease in braking force.
