PURPOSE:To prevent crosstalk due to a shape from being generated by providing a recording layer containing a phthalocyanine pigment in one of the surfaces of a light transmission substrate and an elastic layer in the other surface of the recording layer and utilizing the elasticity of the elastic layer to make the shape of a pit small. CONSTITUTION:This optical recording medium is provided with a light transmission substrate 2, a recording layer 3 of 30 to 150nm thick containing a phthalocyanine pigment which is formed in one of the surfaces of the substrate 2 and an elastic layer 4 in the different side surface from the substrate 2 of the recording 3. The elastic layer 4 is formed of a silicone layer of not less than 100mum thick. A first substrate 2, a first recording layer 3 and a first elastic layer 4 which are formed in order like that is bonded to a second substrate 8, a second recording layer 7 and a second elastic layer 6 and a bonding layer 5 which are similarly formed with the respective substrate 2 and substrate 8 placed in the external sides. Accordingly, the recording layers 3, 7 are formed on the light transmission substrates 2, 8 by the elastic layers 4, 6 in the state of being able to record and reproduce and being protected to form a single plate type optical recording medium in which an organic pigment is used. |
