The packing machine (10) has a section (11) on which plastic packing tubes (23) are formed which are sealed at one end and filled using a filler tube (27). Before use the inside of the filler tube is sterilised with a medium which flows through the tube (27). The ends (29,30) of two filling tubes (27,28) of adjacent machines are interconnected by a tube (50) with two mouthpieces (51,52), which fit over the ends of the filler tubes, so that a flow path is provided for the sterilising medium. This medium flows from a tank (38) into one filler tube through the interconnection (50) to the other filler tube. |
