PURPOSE:To increase terminal holding strength, reduce the number of molds to one terminal forming mold and one shrinking-bending mold, make manufacture easy, and reduce cost by forming a connector with different terminal length. CONSTITUTION:In a first process, a punch-blending press-worked component (a) is formed by applying upper bending, lower bending, upper left bending, and punch bending, the press worked component (a) is turned over, and symmetrical work is applied to form a punch bending press-worked component (b). In a second process, optional shrink press work is conducted according to required length. The worked component (a) is put on the worked component (b), and insert-molding is conducted to form a connector with different terminal length. The connecter obtained by this manufacturing method has terminal holding strength about 5-10 times stronger than a current terminal pressure-insertion method. |
