PURPOSE:To provide a remote monitor device with which stereoscopic viewing is enabled from a desired point of any distance in the case of remote monitoring and an operator feels no pain even in long observation. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a sight-line detector 32 for detecting the sight of both eyes of an operator by providing one light emitting element respectively corresponding to the right eye and left eye of the operator and four light receiving elements equipped with light receiving areas horizontal to the upper right, upper left, lower right and light left sides of the cornea of the eye, head mounted display 31 equipped with monitors 3 and 4 just in front of both eyes of the operator, two cameras 1 and 2 installed at distant positions while being laterally arranged with an interval almost equal to a distance between the human pupils, and two turn tables 34 and 35 for independently turning the respective cameras. |
