PURPOSE:To provide a new fire retardant insulating electric wire/cable by which harmful gas is not generated at combustion time and which has excellent fire retardancy. CONSTITUTION:In a fire retardant insulating electric wire/cable by covering a surface of an insulator core 3 with a sheath 6, a coating agent composed of the composition by mixing a filler 10 to 300 pts.wt. to silicone resin 100 pts.wt. is applied to a base cloth tape of organic fiber or inorganic fiber. This is arranged between the insulator core 3 and the sheath 6. |
