SOCKET ADAPTER FOR CANTILEVER INSTALLATION LAMP

PURPOSE:To further improve a temperature decreasing effect of lighting parts, and reduce an axial directional length of a screwed base part by arranging a lighting part housing part in an overhang condition on the outer periphery of a cantilever installation lamp close to a socket part. CONSTITUTION:This socket adapter for a cantilever installation lamp is provided with a screw base part 1 to be screwed in and connected to a lamp socket, a socket part 2 which is connected to this screw base part 1 and in which a base of the cantilever installation lamp 5 is installed and a lighting part housing part 3 which overhangs to the outer periphery of the cantilever installation lamp 5 by securing a space 12 between it and the cantilever installation lamp 5 close to the outer periphery of the socket part! 2 and inside which lighting parts 8 are housed. It is desirable that among the lighting parts 8, a part 8a high in a heat resistant temperature is arranged in a position close to the cantilever installation lamp 5 and a part 8b low in the heat resistant temperature is arranged in a position more distant from the cantilever installation lamp 5 than the part 8a high in the heat resistant temperature.
