PURPOSE:To provide the facsimile store and forward exchange having a security function offering convenience of use for the user. CONSTITUTION:A key board 15 is used to set it to a magnetic disk 13 in advance that only a password is checked for each communication class and at the transmission and reception for its communication class, only a telephone number is checked, the password or the telephone number is checked. both the password and the telephone number are checked or they are not checked at all. In the case of communication with a terminal equipment 2, a central processing unit 11 discriminates whether or not checking of a password and a telephone number from the terminal equipment 2 is set and when the checking is set, the password and the telephone number from the terminal equipment 2 are collated and when they are coincident with each other respectively, image communication is conducted. When the checking is not set, the image communication is conducted without collating the password and the telephone number. |
