<p>PURPOSE:To make a drum sound sharp by providing a valve device, which limits a flow of air to only the direction from inside to outside the drum, in a vent hole. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical hole formation member 24 having the vent hole 8 is fitted and fixed in a fitting hole 21 formed in the outer peripheral surface of a barrel main body 1. A valve main body 25 which is pivotally supported on a rotary shaft 27 is arranged at the hole formation member 24. This valve main body 25 is energized in the closing direction with a spring 28 to normally close the vent hole 8. When a drum head 2 is struck, the valve main body 25 is opened by a displacement and the air in the barrel main body 1 is exhausted through the vent hole 8.</p> |
