The round bale press consists of a compression chamber (16), formed within a case formed by the front section (6), the side walls (7) and the rear section (8). The rear section is linked to the front section by a pivot (10) to allow for the ejection of the bale. The compression chamber accommodates bales of varying dimensions, and has an inlet opening (20) formed by several belts (13-15) arranged individually side by side. A roller (23) is mounted on carrying arms (26,27), which in turn are carried by the case (6) of the compression chamber. The arms pivot so that the roller can be moved backwards, as the diameter of the pressed bale increases. The arms are arranged to fit in the slots (28,29) between two adjacent belts (13,14 or 14,15).
