A module for a construction such as a stadium or a swimming pool, consisting of a number of panels of which at least one can slide along a load-bearing structure by means of a drive device. The load-bearing structure consists of two stationary parallel load-bearing members (22, 24) with side channels (28) having a generally C-shaped cross-section. Each sliding panel (6, 8) comprises at least two sets of side wheels (32) facing the load-bearing members (22, 24) and moving in the corresponding channel (28), and the drive device includes two drive chains for each sliding panel (6, 8), which chains are slidable in respective ones of the channels (28) forming guiding slides.
