PURPOSE: To provide a compact collapsible inspection device for well layer which meets the requirements of different sondes simultaneous by coupling together the ends of a section to hold a bus in contacting the wall of a well, a section having a measuring pad, and a section to be held apart from the wall. CONSTITUTION: A collapsible inspection device for well layer is composed of a section 15 coupled with a cable 11 through a coupling member 16, a section 17 suspended at the section 15 to form the intermediate part, and a section 18 to form the lower part. The section 15 presses the pipe wall to the wall of a well by a bow-shaped elastic member 10 provided in the central part. This structure well suits a neutron layer inspection sonde. The section 17 is equipped with a measuring pad 21 for pressing to the wall, and in the inside a gamma/gamma device for measuring the layer density is accommodated. The section 18 is equipped with a plurality of spacers 24, to separate it from the wall and holds a sonde, etc., including guide coils. |
