PURPOSE:To reduce the effect on a reproduced voice and to relax a sense of incongruity provided to a listener listening to a reproduced voice by using range data whose expansion rate is smaller by one step than voice data when the voice data in N-th frame data are reproduced. CONSTITUTION:A counter control circuit 6 controls a counter 7 based on information A sent from a ranged ata error correction circuit 4. In the case of corrected range data, a counter load instruction B is outputted to load the range data stored in an input range data register 5 to the counter 7 to obtain range data with respect to N-th frame data. In the case of range data whose correction is disabled, a counter clock instruction C is outputted and a range is increased by one step toward a smaller expansion rate to the range data of (N-1)th frame data with intimate correlation with the N-th frame data stored in a range data storage circuit 8 to use the data for the range data with respect to the N-th frame data.
