The antenna has a ground plane (210) over which a power combining network layer (220) is disposed. The network layer consists of a power combining network fed at a point via several feedlines. A low-noise block down-converter (LNB) (200) extending through the network layer is capacitively coupled to it. A receiving element layer (230) disposed over the network layer consists of several receiving elements. Each receiving element is capacitively coupled to a respective one of the network layer's feedlines. The LNB is mounted vertically in the antenna to extend between the ground plane and the receiving element layer through said the power combining network layer.
