<p>The proposed device for adjusting the parameters of a lower-limb prosthesis comprises: a prosthetic appliance (20) with a mechanism by which it can be adjusted linearly in the horizontal plane in two directions (31, 32) perpendicular to one another; and an immobile base unit (1) equipped with a vertical displacement drive (7) with a displacement sensor and connected to a platform in the form of two rigidly connected plates, namely a lower plate (9) and an upper plate (10); load monitoring sensors (11) are installed between the two plates. The proposed device also includes an independent angular adjustment mechanism (34, 35, 41, 45) which can make adjustments in two directions perpendicular to one another and to the horizontal plane; a sensor to monitor the angular position of the prosthesis receiving mount (46); the prosthesis fitted on the mount; a second platform (8) similar to the first and connected to it via the immobile base unit; and an orthopaedic belt (47) worn by the patient and provided with a sensor (48) for measuring the misalignment of the pelvis. The platforms are fixed securely to the base unit in such a way that they can turn in the horizontal plane about the vertical axis of the platform which passes through the projection of the heel. Each platform has an outline of the relevant foot, said outline being used to align the load sensors with the projection of the heel and of the first and fifth capitula of the metatarsal bones, as appropriate.</p> |
