<p>PURPOSE:To treat an oil-containing waste china clay in place of dumping the waste clay by reusing the oil component hitherto removed by solvent extraction or incineration as a metal soap component of water-repelling cement or water- repelling board. CONSTITUTION:Oil-containing waste china clay is mixed to a cement and the mixture is hydrated and heated to form a metallic soap by the reaction of the oil component with a component in the cement and obtain a water-repelling cement. A water-repelling board is produced by forming the water-repelling cement in the form of a board. The oil-containing waste china clay required to spend a treating cost as a waste can be used as it is as a cement admixture to enable the treatment of the oil component simultaneously with the production of water-repelling board, etc.</p> |
