PURPOSE:To take a bath in a comfortable posture by forming an inclined face shaped upper support stand to support an upper part from an under crotch part of a bather on a bottom surface of a bathtub body formed so that the bather can take a bath in a condition of lying on his back, and a recessed part between this upper support stand and a lower support stand to support a leg part of the bather. CONSTITUTION:This bathtub 1 has a bathtub body 4 whose length is long, and an inclined face-shaped upper support stand 7 capable of supporting an upper part from an under crotch part of a bather 6 in a condition of lying on his back, is arranged on a bottom surface of an inside case 3 of the bathtub body 4. A lower support stand 9 capable of supporting a leg part of the bather 6 is also arranged, and a recessed part 8 is formed between the upper support stand 7 and the lower support stand 9. A leg locking piece 10 capable of locking legs when the bather 6 is put in a condition of lying on his back or when he gets up from the condition of lying on his back, is formed in an upper part on the recessed part 8 side of the lower support stand 9, and a drain hole 11 in which a plug 12 can be installed is formed in a recessed part site. |
