The present invention provides an operating method of FMCW radar, comprising the steps of: extracting the target information for the target based on a transmission frequency transmitted from a radar sensor and a receiving frequency reflected by an optional target; determining whether a vehicle speed is a determined target ambiguity generation speed; changing the vehicle speed to the first to third pulse value according to the first to third pulse repetition interval (PRI) having a different interval which establishes a Doppler frequency of the target included in the receiving frequency if the vehicle speed is the target ambiguity generation speed; determining whether the target is a static object or a moving object based on the first to third pulse values; and storing the target information and estimating the target if the target is determined to be the moving object. The present invention is designed to provide an operation method of FMCW radar capable of increasing the detection accuracy of the moving target by transmitting and receiving an FMCW waveform with a big Chirp and classifying freeze and moving objects. |
