PURPOSE:To obtain a composition useful for a health food, to be concrete, an oil composition capable of preventing sedimentation of cholesterol in blood vessel, hindering hypertension, suppressing cardiac infarction and angina pectoris, having effect on atopic dermatitis. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of this oil composition having improved function comprises (A) a natural polysaccharide and (B) an aqueous emulsion containing an oil in which part of fatty acids constituting triglycerides is docosahexaenoic acid and the weight ratio of the component A/B is 0.5-5 and the solid content of the component A is >=6wt.%.
