<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of the metal frame of a bridge type on baking porcelain to a metal frame, by using a surface-treating agent for backing porcelain containing fine particles of eutectic alloy of gold and silicon and giving sufficient adhesion strength between the porcelain and the metal frame. CONSTITUTION:This invention provides a surface-treating agent for baking a porcelain for an artificial tooth to a metal frame. This treating agent comprises fine particles of a gold alloy, an antioxidant, and a binder in which the fine particles of gold alloy are made of a eutectic alloy of gold and silicon. Particularly, only fine particles of eutectic gold alloy with silicon, or a combination thereof with at least one selected from eutectic alloy particles of gold and aluminum, gold and tin and gold and indium may be used. Particularly, incorporation of fine particles of eutectic alloy of gold and aluminum as well as gold and tin is preferred. The size of fine particles is preferably 4-10 microns in diameter.</p> |
