The ionized calcium is prepared by (A) charging pulverized shell into an indirect sintering refractory container(10), which is made of debris of stones, (B) adding 0.2-0.4 wt% activated carbon with respect to the amount of the pulverized shell, (C) piling refractory containers on a large cart(16), (D) transferring the cart(16) into a furnace(19) and preheating it for 0.5-5.5 hours, (E) sintering indirectly the mixture at 500-1,600 deg.C under the atmospheric pressure for 4-8 minutes and (F) quenching the sintered shell and pulverizing it into 300-320 mesh.
