Memory spaces are allocated to access demands (Za), carrier code (CP), emitting code (CE), maximum permitted bad presentations (NMP) and maximum permitted correct presentations (PCMAX). There are also sub assemblies for card state (E), and (C), the numbers of bad and good presentations (DAF, Q) (DAC, Q') and compatibility (COMP). If a carrier code (PORT) sent by the reader is equal to the given value (CP) the sub assembly (DAC) is activated and (DAF) is reset. If the carrier code is incorrect (DAF) is activated and if this is repeated for more than the given maximum (NMP) the card is blocked and has to be cleared by comparison of a bank signal (EMET) with the emitting code (CE).
